With nothing more than tweets to let the world know what’s going on, the iPhone 4 has just officially been unlocked by @planetbeing. He also used the next userland jailbreak by @comex to jailbreak his iPhone 4. All of this stuff is happening a lot faster than usual, so the release is getting closer.

November 3rd, 2009 brian @geohot has done it. He has the world’s first 05.11.07 iPhone 3G/3GS unlock that is to work even on the latest 3.1.2 firmware. Here’s how everything will go down. Note that nothing will be released until noon EST today.
